The Setting: Opening night of Dial M For Murder, 1952, at the historic Grand Rapids Civic Theatre.

The house is sold out, the lobby is buzzing, critics are seated. Donors are watching. Backstage, nerves are fraying. Everyone knows: if tonight fails, the theater’s future is at risk. As the curtain rises, a slow horror descends over the crowd… There, under a spotlight at center stage lies the body of the director of the show. You must work with your fellow detectives to solve puzzles, find clues, and be the first to deduce whodunnit before the curtain rises. Because, as they say, the show must go on.
