THE NEXT SPELLING BEE HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED!

Come cheer on these adult spellers as they take on increasingly harder words...with increasingly more drinks. Our third bee will be hosted at House Rules Lounge!

Interested in being a speller? Registration opens Monday, May 6th at 9:00am!

Official Rules: 

  1. The game begins with 20 spellers who all drink 5 oz draft pours at the top of the event

  2. Through a series of rounds, spellers will receive a word to spell. 

    1. Spellers may ask for the definition or origin of the word, or for the word to be used in a sentence

    2. To begin spelling, the speller will repeat the word. Once the first letter has been spoken out loud, the speller must finish the spelling without going back to move on to the next round

    3. If the speller makes a mistake or spells the word incorrectly, they will not move to the next round

  3. Once the round is over, another 5 oz pour is given to the spellers to begin the next round

  4. This continues until there is one winner

  5. If we get through 5 rounds, pours will be reduced to 2 oz to keep everyone safe!

First Place: $75 cash
Second Place: $25 cash
